S = for waist sizes 28, 30, 32
M = for waist sizes 32, 34, 36
L = for waist sizes 36, 38, 40
XL = for waist sizes 40, 42, 44
XXL = for waist sizes 44, 46, 48

The fabric is forgiving and the waistband is pretty soft so these are pretty fit-flexible

if you are on the cusp of two sizes, size down for a more snug fit, size up for a more loose/comfy fit
